I love My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Grouplove, Get Scared, Falling In Reverse, Pierce the Veil, AFI, blessthefall, ngrid Schnell, music, especially rock, in general. Sly Cooper makes my heart burn, so does Saturday Night Live, TMZ, The Aquabats! Super Show!, and a bunch of random reality shows. I sing, play golf, and softball. Comic Con is my happy place.
Attention Street Teamers: We would like to introduce you to your our next project!
Last year when Chantal opened for Mindless Self Indulgence in three California cities, the Street Team did a small run of 400 small promotional handouts. These handouts were given to MSI fans by street teamers after the show and they reported back to us to see if it was a successful project. The results were that the cards worked wonderfully, fans were asking for them at the end of the night so that they had Chantal’s music and social networking info on one convenient card.
This upcoming tour, we are doing it again. If you are going to the Clifton Park, New York City, or Hollywood dates of the MSI tour and would like to help promote Chantal on the road, email firstname.lastname@example.org for further instructions. As always, there will a small, exclusive gift for everyone who helps out, plus the chance to win bigger prizes as well.
PS: These are the designs that will be on the front of the cards. Tell us what you think!
SHIRLEY TEMPLE (13 April 1928 - 10 February 2014)
Who was the biggest box office draw of 1938? Not Clark Gable, who had been dubbed “The King of Hollywood”. Not Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers, the wildly popular dancing couple. It was Shirley Temple, the 10-year-old child star who beat them to first place. She was called “America’s Darling”, and for good reason. Shirley’s films, made during the Great Depression, were a way for America to forget about their troubles. This adorable little kid captured the imaginations of the country, and everyone from the man on the street corner to President Roosevelt loved her. The box office successes of Shirley Temple’s movies single-handedly saved 20th Century Fox Studios, and without her, none of their later successes, such as Star Wars, would have come into being. She stopped believing in Santa Claus at the age of six after she met him and he asked for her autograph, showing how widespread her impact in movies was. Shirley also was part of possibly the first interracial dance portrayed on-screen. After she outgrew films, She became a diplomat for the US, and managed to carve out another career for herself. Shirley battled breast cancer and was one of the first women to speak openly about the subject, thus encouraging other women to do the same. Her passing marks not just a sad event, but the end of an era, as she was undoubtedly the most beloved star of the 1930’s.
Rest in peace, Shirley. Thank you so much for making millions of people happy during the darkest times of the Depression, and thank you for all that you have done.
I’M WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO MAKE A PHOTOSET OF MEXICO’S TEAM IN THE SOCHI OLYMPICS, BECAUSE IT’S JUST ONE MAN AND HE’S WEARING THIS:
I LOVE MY COUNTRY.
I SAW HIM AND I FUCKING CHEERED
i asked my mom if that was a one piece body suit. guess I got my answer
I really like this interview. I like how it tests Adam’s and Davey’s knowledge on each other after being friends for 20+ years.
this is one of my favorites too :’)
AND THEY’RE STILL PLAYING DANCING THROUGH SUNDAY AND KILL CAUSTIC GUYS YOU DONT HAVE TO
I REALLY WISH THEY’D DROP KILL CAUSTIC
I love this one! :)
BUT GUYS. DON’T PLAY SONGS YOU HATE. NOT FOR OUR SAKE OR ANYONE ELSES.
Admittedly, I DO adore the guitar solo in DTS, but I would completely understand them not playing it anymore. And I enjoy Kill Caustic well enough, but I’m not particularly attached to it.
Hmm, I wonder why they still play Kill Caustic though? I mean DTS seems to be a favorite for fans, so okay so probably for the fans that love it is why it’s still on setlists, but who is going crazy for Kill Caustic? I mean I don’t think it’s universally loathed, but I don’t think I’ve seen even one person claim it as their favorite, much less entire crowds at multiple venues screaming for it…
Did a bunch of dogs breakup a fight between two cats? Am I seeing this right??
Having none of that shit today.
“Ay man, y’all chill the fuck out. Y’all fucking up the party.”
I CAN’T BELIEVE WHAT I’M SEEING
Pack animals like dogs don’t tolerate dissent in their group because it weakens the pack’s social structure… There are similar clips on youtube of them breaking up rabbit and rooster fights… They don’t care what species you are, they just want you to CUT THAT SHIT OUT.
They don’t differentiate species because dogs think everything else is just a weird dog.
ANIMAL BEHAVIOR IS FUN MAN OMG
February 4, 2013 ➯ Every dot com’s refreshing for a journal update, and this was the day it paid off.
♫ Happy one year since Fall Out Boy’s return ♫
so its been a year and how do we account for it? by counting the places we have been? the time logged in airports waiting for connecting flights? by the records? my songs going platinum 3xs?? or a gold record for the album (unbelievable!!!)? or how do we account for the sweat and tears that have gone into this year, ours and yours? is there a way to account the stage dives or the waiting outside of venues in the hot and the cold? in the decibels of how loud you have sung? probably not. they dont give awards or trophies for those kind of things, though maybe they should. instead we dedicate this month to you. you have made this as much as we have. welcome to fobruary.
